Honoring Our Survivors: Tova Friedman and Maud Dahme

Online Program, Presented by the Raritan Valley Community College.

Join us for this special Online event as we honor Tova Friedman and Maud Dahme for their dedication and tireless efforts to further Holocaust Education.

Maud Dahme was born in the Dutch town of Amersfoort, just four years before the Netherlands surrendered to Hitler. Maud and her sister were sent into hiding for four years, separated from the rest of their family. Maud is a passionate advocate of Holocaust education.

Tova Friedman, a Holocaust survivor, shares her experiences in Auschwitz with students, teachers, and individuals in the United States and worldwide. She hopes that her stories will emphasize that prejudice and violence will destroy both the victim and the victor.

Co-sponsored by The Jewish Federation of Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren Counties, Shimon and Sara Birnbaum-JCC, The JCC Holocaust Memorial, and Education Center, and JEWISH LIFE
