War Eagle, Arkansas

 

This film depicts the true story of the friendship between Enoch Cass, a star pitcher with a debilitating stutter, and Samuel “Wheels” Macon, his best friend with cerebral palsy. The story finds these two at the crossroads of childhood and independence. Will Enoch decide to pursue a college sports career or remain shackled to his hometown in rural Ozark Mountain Arkansas and its people.

 

The film stars Brain Dennehy, James McDaniel, Mary Kay Place and Mare Winningham.

 

TWO Show times: 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM

 

Film will be streamed and a discussion will follow the films.

Post-screening discussions and other engaging programs bring together the community to explore, discuss, embrace, and celebrate the diversity of our shared human experience.
