Class Descriptions

Les Mills

BODYCOMBAT

This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as Karate, Boxing, Taekwondo, Tai Chi and Muay Thai. Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors, you strike, punch, kick, and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness. High cardio class for mega calorie burn.

All fitness levels. Available in 45-minute Express and 1 Hour formats.

BODYBALANCE

A mix of Yoga, Pilates, and Tai Chi. By using the principles and disciplines of three martial arts, participants will feel stronger, leaner and more powerful in their everyday lives. This is a great class to complement any exercise program or intense training due to its great results in making individuals more flexible and enhancing their core.

All fitness levels. Available in 45-minute Express and 1 Hour formats.

BODYPUMP

A barbell-based workout that’s specifically designed to help you get lean, toned, and fit. It uses a combination of motivating music, fantastic instructors and scientifically proven moves to help you achieve these targets more quickly than you would working out on your own.

All fitness levels. Available in 45-minute Express and 1 Hour formats.

CORE

This workout includes exercises that utilize a resistance band, weight plates, and bodyweight exercises like crunches, planks, and hovers. The benefit: Increased core strength and stability.

All fitness levels.

GRIT

30-minute HIIT workouts designed with short rounds of high-intensity exercise followed by periods of strategic recovery. The secret to ultimate results is not adding more workouts to your routine, but increasing their intensity. We recommend two HIIT workouts a week, as part of a balanced training plan.  Pregnant women are generally advised to reduce their exercise intensity, therefore this class is considered to be contraindicated during pregnancy. A clearance should be obtained following pregnancy before undertaking any type of HIIT Training.

SPRINT

It’s a short, intense style of training where the thrill and motivation comes from pushing your physical and mental limits. A high intensity, low impact workout, it’s scientifically proven to return rapid results. This workout drives your body to burn calories for hours. You combine bursts of intensity, where you work as hard as possible, with periods of rest that prepare you for the next effort. The payoff? You smash your fitness goals, fast.

Power, Strength & Cardio

 

CARDIO CONDITIONING

A cross training class that incorporates different training styles, such as Tabata, Interval, EMOM, and AMRAP’s using bodyweight.

All fitness levels.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

A cross training class that incorporates different training styles, such as Tabata, Interval, EMOM, and AMRAP’s using bodyweight & dumbbells.

All fitness levels.

TOTAL BODY CIRCUIT

Bodyweight conditioning that circuits upper-and lower-body resistance with core and cardio work with minimal rest in between. The result is a workout that fatigues your muscular strength and endurance while enhancing your cardiorespiratory health.

All fitness levels. Available in 30-minute and 45-minute formats.


SOULBODY

HIIT

The perfect blend of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and bodyweight training that will quickly strengthen and transform your body. 30-minute high-intensity cardio workout that combines Tabata and strength-training blocks to pump the heart and build a solid core.

All fitness levels.

RESTORE

Gently warm the body through unique yoga flows, create mobility through dynamic stretching and use restorative techniques to release fascial tension in the body. This class will leave you feeling relaxed and centered.

UNHITCHED

Using a weighted bar, challenge your balance and core stability with “centered” bar(re) work. It’s a mindfully-intense, total body workout.

CYCLING

Using a stationary exercise bike, focus on endurance, strength, intervals, high intensity, and recovery. Journey through hills, flats, sprints, and jumps interval training, while cycling to the upbeat sounds of music.

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), using an indoor bike. Followed by total body conditioning, using weights.

MIND – BODY

LES MILLS BODYBALANCE

MAT PILATES

This class uses the body’s own weight and resistance to create lean and strong muscles. As opposed to yoga where positions are held to obtain maximum flexibility and strength, Pilates contains more repetitions and a variety of fitness equipment to challenge certain body parts. Bosu, Rings, and Bands can be added to create variety and resistance to mostly all exercises performed on the mat.

YOGA

Focuses on the mind-body connection while toning and stretching. Yoga improves strength, balance and flexibility.

All fitness levels.

FOAM ROLL & STRETCH

Using self-myofascial release techniques and stretching to help aid in relief of muscle tightness, soreness, and inflammation, and increase your joint range of motion.

All fitness levels.


DANCE & MOVEMENT

 

ZUMBA

A fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training — alternating fast and slow rhythms — to help improve cardiovascular fitness.

 ZUMBA GOLD

Beginners and active adults, this class is for you! The design of the class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba® choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Come ready to sweat, and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong.Class focuses on all elements of fitness: cardiovascular, muscular conditioning, flexibility and balance!

ZUMBA TONING

A fitness program that combines Latin and International music with dance moves, while using one or three-pound maracas to aid in the toning effect of all the muscles of the body.

All fitness levels.

STRONG 30

A high intensity interval class (HIIT) — think burpees, pushups, and other high-impact moves — synced to Latin music.

Intermediate-Advanced fitness levels.


ACTIVE ADULTS

ACTIVE ADULTS

Work your muscles, heart, brain or just move a little to motivating music, this your class! This low to no impact class will get your heart pumping, strengthen muscles utilizing equipment & challenge your balance & coordination.

Beginner-Intermediate fitness levels.

CHAIR YOGALATES

A seated Yoga class for those who are unable to work out on the floor. Although this class is great for the senior population, it is highly recommended to those who suffer a bodily injury or who are currently in rehab.

SILVERSNEAKERS CLASSIC

Seated and standing exercises to increase muscular strength, range of motion, and activities for daily living.

Beginner-Intermediate fitness levels.

SILVERSNEAKERS CIRCUIT

Standing upper-body strength work alternated with low impact cardio using a chair for standing support.

ZUMBA GOLD

AQUATICS

AQUA FITNESS

A low-impact, high-energy aquatic class using water equipment to take your fitness to the next level.

All fitness levels.

AQUA ZUMBA

A low-impact, high-energy aquatic class, set to Latin music. There is less impact on your joints during class, so you can really let loose. Water creates a natural resistance, which means every step is more challenging and helps tone your muscles.

All fitness levels.


SMALL GROUP TRAINING

Using boxing bags and cardio exercises for a total body workout.
