We will place the children according to their appropriate age and level: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced

• Beginner: Class covers basic reading, writing and conversation, as well as simple vocabulary.
• Intermediate: Class concentrates on building vocabulary through conversation, reading and writing. A simple text and workbook will help students master the basics of grammar while telling enjoyable stories.
• Advanced: Builds on the student’s knowledge of basic language focusing on comprehension, creative writing and conversation. An advanced text will provide exercised in reading comprehension and enjoyable stories.

This applies to all classes. Instructors will be added on an as needed basis, based on enrollment.

Tatiana Raines, is the Director of the JCC’s Israeli and Russian Schools. She has over 20 years of experience working with children and language instruction. Tatiana is currently a teacher at the JCC Blaustein Early Childhood Center and is from Russia, immigrating to Israel before moving to Bridgewater. She is fluent in both Hebrew and Russian.
