About Russian Language Classes

Russian language classes will teach students speaking, reading, writing and literature. Culinary arts will be held in Russian and will allow students to improve their Russian language along with mastering their culinary skills. Open to children 3 years old through middle school with all ages and levels welcome. Children will be separated into groups as needed.

20 Week Session $800 begins week of January 16| No classes April 3-16.

Classes will be offered the following days and times:

  • Wednesday
    • 6:00 – 7:30 PM | Advanced, Age 6+
  •  Thursday
    • 6:00 – 7:30 PM | Beginner, Age 6+
  • Saturdays
    • 8:30 – 10:00 AM | Beginners, Age 3-5
    • 10:00 – 11:30 AM | Beginner, Age 6+

Includes end of year celebration and party.


Arts & Crafts Lesson – Ages 3-5 Sundays: 9:00 – 10:30 AM
Art Lessons: Ages 6+ Sundays: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Russkii Camp

Full immersion Russkii Camp.  Staff and campers will all speak Russian and participate in daily activities including Swimming, Math, Chess, Sports, Arts and Crafts, Outdoor Play, Legos, Cooking, Games and Science Experiments.

  • Week 1: 8/21-8/25
  • Week 2: 8/28-9/1

Early Bird Special: $500/week when registered by March 1.

Tatiana Raines, is the Director of the JCC’s Israeli and Russian Schools. She has over 20 years of experience working with children and language instruction. Tatiana is currently a teacher at the JCC Blaustein Early Childhood Center and is from Russia, immigrating to Israel before moving to Bridgewater. She is fluent in both Hebrew and Russian.
