Youth Sports

All of our sports programs focus on development and work with each individual child to reach their goals. Our programs include different competitive levels based on ability and age.  Our Coaches are all former athletes themselves, are experts in their area and have a passion for the game and for passing that on to the next generation.

Bridgewater Tide Swim Team

The JCC Bridgewater Tide (BWTD) is a year round competitive swim team offering high level professional coaching and technique instruction for swimmers ages 5-18. Our swimmers range in ability from novice to National level competitors, and the goal of our team is to provide every member with a safe and positive environment, as well as an opportunity to improve his or her swimming skills and achieve success at their level of ability.

In full support of the mission of the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum JCC, the Bridgewater Tide provides a comprehensive approach to development, where Tide swimmers experience an environment of fitness, mental training, sportsmanship, and camaraderie resulting in increased confidence, athletic success, and self esteem. Each swimmer has the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential and contribute to the growth and success of the team as a whole.

The JCC Bridgewater TIDE is the FIRST team in NJ-LSC to be SafeSport Recognized.
